@mjkb: you're right @Rdesign, this is an RFID ship. The kind of model developed and shipped by HID Global. The size has been developed for cats and dog identification. It only works about 20cm (10 inches). There is no localizing in this, this is just an advice for conspiracy guys overthere. The anti-thefts system they described is base on proximity detection. when the ship goes out of the detection rang, this makes an alarm ring. Simple as "bonjour".
