Awesome camera and very well built. but for video, just go canon :p
how can you compare it to the d800? lol, dx vs fx apples and oranges. it's a solid camera, I have a d3 and 95%of the time unless I'm doing serious shooting I grab the d7k
More lens than camera, rather go with the D600 or 800 !!
I have a D600 which is essentially a D7000 with a full frame sensor. if you don't want the added expense of FX format lenses i would highly recommend this camera for the serious enthusiast. I've shot weddings with the D7000 (as a backup to the D600) and loved using it.
