Don't agree at all - a regular chair could definitely fit under there. All you have to do is push in your desk just like you push in your chair after you're done working, it's hardly any more effort. And everyone has their own style, but this aesthetic is very clean and minimal, a fuzzy green rug and pictures of friends wouldn't fit at all. Although definitely a good call on the wires haha.
I agree, I think to be a truly functional and innovative desk one would have to create discreet areas to hide all the wires
Yes, on the "pretty picture" versions of these types of minimalist desks they always fail to show the Portuguese Man of War cluster of cords. Still beautiful setup though and would love to have it for myself.
I would just run all my wires against the far side of the desk and hold them in place with a clear piece of packing tape. If you really put a little effort, it wouldn't be hard to organize and effectively hide your wires.
Not to mention with an iMac setup, the wires are minimal anyway. Bluetooth keyboard, mouse, and trackpad. The only real wires are the ones that go into the computer and the printer. But most printers connect wirelessly as well so wires really shouldn't be a deal-beaker here guys...
Hi All. Thanks for the comments. As for wire management, the hidden shelf in the back stores, hides, and organizes all of that mess, then channels one power cable down the inside leg of the upper deck, hidden behind the support bracket. And task chairs with arms do slide under the lower deck. As for moving the parts of the desk around, that's completely up to you. You can choose to never move it an inch if you wish. Also, for those who need more color, it's available in 5 colors/finishes. We even make them in custom colors.
Wow
Nice
I own two of these sets... one is this color the other is silver... they also come in bright colours like yellow and red etc... I love them, very minimalistic
I read lots of comments on this set that are incorrect... these pieces were designed to hide the wires... neither of my desks can you see any of the wires ( computer, monitor, printer, external hard drives and phone chargers ) these were well designed and well thought out pieces... the only thing bad thing I have to say is most were dented by the time they arrived to my place, sadly they still are... but other than the dents they are beautiful and you can't see any of my wires...
