Why do the shelves look paper thin in the main picture and like 2" thick in the product pictures??

@lotzosushi I was thinking the same thing... otherwise you can find the thick ones at IKEA.
Yeah! Why do the shelves look paper thin in the main picture and like 2" thick in the product pictures?! If I want the 2" thick like on the pictures of the product (not the main), I simply go the Ikea.
