Once again, the model cat is a large exotic (either Bengal or Savannah), because they'll try anything and you'll have no problem getting them to hang out on an elevated platform. They prefer high places. I had a Bengal that would climb mysteriously onto top shelves or the space between my cupboards and kitchen ceiling. Twice, he dropped heavy objects on my head. Eventually I had to remove everything that he hadn't dropped already, to protect myself and what was left of my belongings.
