French designer Mathieu Lehanneur has conceived 'take time!' - a re-interpretation of the pocket watch design to accommodate the contemporary setting. developed for Lexon, the quartz analog timepiece is made from silicone rubber and is available in a variety of colors. Featuring a strap that loops at one end, it allows the user to thread the watch through to secure it to bags, belts or wrists. The design is informed by the adage from the classic book tin tin - ‘between the pocket watch and the pendulum of professor cuthbert calculus’ - infusing a quirky element into the piece.
