Pointless and sporting a lame interface too! I saw this app a longtime ago and instantly realized that it has no purpose other that to display a nifty needle indicator.
It's aesthetically pleasing and free. That's enough for me.
Just playing with the app, it does have a sound boosting EQ. Sounds better than straight iTunes
