So cute but they only tend to live 3-5 years and suffer serious health issues, very sad. People shouldn't pay huge amounts of money to breeders for these.
People shouldn't breed these dogs period. They're cute and all, but they live very brief (even in dog years), lives that are plagued with health issues, as others have pointed out before me.
Breeders really shouldn't be allowed to do that to animals, it's bordering on animal cruelty. Yeah, it's cute, but it's just so unfair on it, cos it won't live very long at all
Good God I didn't realize there was cruelty involvedwith breeding these dogs. Personally I thought the photo was adorable ( now I am taking it down) but I would never buy a dog from a breeder period....I would only get my dog from a shelter, 5 million dogs and cats are euthanized per year in the US because no one wants them.
He's adorable but riddled with health problems for life. Pregnant dogs are given a strictly controlled diet during the pregnancy and labour is induced early so they have preemies. No good breeder will sell or endorse teacups.
There are no such things as teacup or micro dogs. These are just phrases used by money grabbing scum to sell the dogs at a premium. These dogs live very short lives and are riddled with serious health problems. No responsible breeder would ever advertise or sell puppies over the Internet
My ex mother-in-law had a "Teacup" Poodle and she lived to be 15 or 16 years old and only had health problems near the end of her long life. I'm very much against cruelty to animals and I honestly never realized that that's what was involved with teacups...I feel pretty stupid about that. Does the same go for "toys" and "miniatures"??
I'm an animal advocate and rescuer like many of you. I too thought they were adorable. However, due to "animal cruelty in breeding" discussed above - I will research this topic. Thank you for the comments.
I love it. Look like a puppet I had have when I was child.
You do know it's cruelty what they do to those animals. They suffer most of their life's and they are so fragile and barely live 6 months.
That looks like a toy!
I agree with Rubycuts - terrible,

Perhaps the cuteness isn't worth the cruelty suffered by these defenceless dogs.
茶杯型貴賓真可愛!可惜太過人工了,不太健康。
