Serious question: Can't a whiskey ever be too old?
Whisky only improves in the barrel
Whiskies rarely exceed 50 or 60 years in the barrel due to alcohol evaporation, leakage and picking up off flavors, 80 years is very unusual.
Vintage house in soho London has a 1926 whisky @ £35000.00
I wish I could fancy this, but unfortunately I don't think I'll ever know what 80 year old whisky tastes like. Unless I hide a bottle of Jack and live to be 112.
