Amazing. It's in Osaka Station
hmm ... 1942 ... interesting
What the shit.. How does that work?
I made this.
Does it works?! :o
I'm guessing it's a wall of falling water with a projected light of the time? Just a guess ... Image looks edited to give that surreal effect ...
Seen it. It was hypnotizing.
Omg..
It is actually water falling on timed release to form the correct shapes. There is one in America somewhere that creates pictures and words. YouTube them, ridiculously impressive.
Cool ...
I bet how it works, is that water falls and than a light is projected onto it. I don't see any other way that they could make the falling water stay in those shapes over and over again.
I need this, thank you.
It's on and off the pipes at certain timing and gravity does the rest.
It's amazing how binary can create something so awesome.
It's works a printer that always prints those warerdrops quickly, I guess...

Astonishing. Have to see one of these for real..
Just saw the YouTube vid ... That's impressive! Need to see one in person
It is done by the water falling at specific times to create the numbers :-) there is one in futuroscope just like it

http://laughingsquid.com/osaka-station-water-clock/ this is how they do it
i have not been to osaka station but to the incredible kyoto station and i first thought you were all mistaking with osaka station. But both stations have one! only the one in osaka station projects the time and the one in Kyoto station does drawings and words.
