simple, galvanized steel bucket pit has large air holes to allow for maximum circulation through the charcoal, removable metal handle with wooden grip, 40cm diameter x 28cm height
@ studiomimi Are you KIDDING ME? Galvanized steel is highly poisonous when used for cooking. The high temperatures release toxic fumes (zinc) that get into the meat. Repeated exposure will lead to heavy metal poisoning.
@RoySchamber~Good catch! The food doesn't even need to be in contact with the gal. steel. We eat the bbq'd item which absorbed the fumes as well as possibly inhaling the zinc that's released into the air. It's the whole galvanizing process. The coating prevents rusting. Items with it shouldn't be used for pets food and water dishes either. High temps in the dishwasher especially the dry cycle, release the zinc too.
The galvanized metal pit has large air holes to allow for maximum circulation through the charcoal, giving you an even burn and less 'flare-ups'. Once the food is finished family and friends can sit around the glowing embers way into the night.
The perfect portable accessory for taking to the beach, on picnics or enjoying in the garden!
