Use boxes with lids for pests and Yes, if you garage get hot (like here in Texas) then a High Temp plastic is recommended. :-) I did this and it's been up in my garage for 4 year and counting.

Buffhawk84 I totally agree! There is another version of this that lifts up from the ground with a pully system so you can get at anything and can store anything! Will try to find and post it.
