@gustavomendes Maybe I should clarify. I'm using a fountain pen here. I generally look for heavy weight, coated papers. I mostly use notebooks for utility not style so paper quality is number one. I do however use a custom Midori cover made by zenokleather from Etsy with various Midori refills.
Thanks for the disclosure & the honesty! As lead is a toxic substance IF ingested and many are no longer (if ever were) aware of the past 'Lead Abatement' regulations across the globe! But pls keep away from the precious babies & children (brain dvlpmt. problems). Fantastic concept & design! As far as notebooks/paper quality: Just go with what suits YOU. ;~D
@Lad6Dvan..great comment...I want one of the pens but lead based or other makes me nervous. I'm from the era where mercury was used in fillings, lead was used in paints and pencils. I'm still here so maybe I'll place my order ha
In an emergency, you need a writing implement - something that will always be within hand's reach, will never run out of ink, and won't smear when you run your flop-sweaty mitts all over the paper. This pen writes in metal! Not graphite like a pencil or ink like a pen that smears and becomes unreadable. The lead-based alloy leaves a permanent mark that won't smudge or be erased.
Now, in the interest of disclosure, the tip is lead-based, so you should keep it out of the reach of kids, but it's perfectly safe as long as you keep it out of your mouth!
