Hilarious reading these comments. It can use both SD (Secure Digital. The ones the size of a postage stamp) and CF (Compact Flash). I agree that if you're struggling to understand the difference, you probably shouldn't be wasting your money. Also, of course it will work with future iPads. It uses the same port your USB and chargers go. You think theyre going to change that? They haven't since once, not even from the first iPod.
