Go back in time with this rare and amazing custom arcade cabinet. The cabinet is professionally made by an interior woodshop. The cabinet has a water cut anodized aluminum control panel and a hinged lockable door on the back to access the internals. It has four adjustable feet to keep it steady on the floor.
The control panel is fit with 2 player controls in fighter layout: a Sanwa 8-way stick with 6 microswitch pushbuttons. In the center is a 6 cm Sanwa track ball with 2 mouse buttons, and at the top, a Ultimarc Ultrastik 360 programmable analogue stick for the best Pac-Man, Qbert or Pole Position experience. The controls can be connected to the computer by means of a USB cable.
The screen is a 27 inch 1920x1200 pixel LCD display with wide-gamut backlight for awesome game colors. It also has wide viewing angles being that it is a VA panel, and it can be set from 100cd/m2 to an extreme 500cd/m2 if you prefer to set it up in a bright lit environment. It has VGA, DVI and HDMI connectors. It offers a 16:10 aspect display, the largest possible image for old 4:3 aspect games. It also allows connection of a modern Full HD console over HDMI. Thanks to a huge 1:1500 static contrast it is one of the best LCD panels for classics on black, like Pac-Man, Froger and Donkey Kong.
The speakers are a 2-way stereo set by German speaker maker Canton. They are driven by a small low-power T-amp by Tripath. They can handle 2x65 Watt with peaks up to 90 Watt.
This is a cabinet without computer or software. Retro Space cabinets are hand crafted items. This means that even though the cabinets are made with much love, small paint creases are possible due to the nature of wood.
