It is not illegal nor morally wrong to jailbreak an iPhone. It is however, illegal to use a jailbreak to download apps that you should have paid for. Just like blank discs aren't illegal, but using them to make copies of copyrighted material is.
There isn't a jailbreak for the 4s yet:( luckily still got iPhone 4 on o.s 4.3 & feature packed...4s speedier by far tho but do I miss jbreak-yes things like 3G unrestrictor & miWi(endless list)but am I coping with restricted device-u bet!
There's no issue whatsoever with jailbreaking, and it's absolutely legal. I've done with every iPhone, iPod touch and iPad that I've had. I feel bad for the people that don't do, they so miss out. By the way, Typophone Weather Lockscreen is great, you can also add your custom weather zone to the lockscreen, and you also can change the background to whatever you like :)

If you jailbreak and there is a software crash. Your warranty wont be valid. Besides that is it illegal to jailbreak??
