If only apple fitted the MagSafe plugs that jump neatly into place n u can see what's happening on the plug(full or charging)bet its too pricey and the magnetic compass wouldn't work if sat next to a magnet but if they could shield it they'd have a top notch plug!
How on earth do you guys break your cables??? Have mine for over a year and is still like new! If you have a solution for the damn battery that needs to be charged up every day that would be great ;o)

Arguable save. Chinese cables (identical in every way) start at $1 on ebay. I bought a pack of five at some point, and knew no sorrow since.

For $25 You can order like ten of spare iphone cables at any chinese online shop.
As mentioned above, you can buy these cables so cheaply, it would cost more to look after an old cable than buy a dozen new ones as I did.
you can buy thick ones all over the place-Griffin Technology..and they have long ones.

I charge my iPad a lot when I'm using it in bed (so it's sitting on my lap) and then it bends and eventually breaks open and that's that!
hmm.. i have had iPhone3-3s-4, ipad and running on my 3rd macbook pro, never had a broken cable though? battery, thats another story
