This is an embarrassment to that liberal rag time magazine and America as a whole .. OWS was disgusting and anyone who thinks they are the people of the year have mental issues.
Why should Steve Jobs be on the cover? Just because he died this year? There are many others who died and also could have been on the cover. I believed they picked the best one.
@nillysoggin Let's try again: Well if you believe that the drug addicted, jobless losers who occupy a park for months belong on the cover of People of the year then you are a fool. How's that?
clearly TIME isn't just referring to the Occupy movement protestors. I know it's hard to fathom political movement outside the US but the Middle East and North African region of the world is currently undergoing an incredible, citizen driven movement towards democratic governance. Read up, chillens. What's happening in the US is negligible in comparison.
@nillysoggin Many bankers are surprised that it actually took this long for protests against the banking system to occur. It's not all that surprising that people are angry that the banks, where the crisis originated, are the ones doing the best out of it with Bush and Obama giving them all that money with little improvement in real economic conditions. Also, although there are non-serious ignorant elements within the OWS movement, it is equally ignorant of you to dismiss as trivial what most of them are rightfully peacefully protesting for. Who voted to give the money to the banks? Who voted for ex-bankers and failed regulators to work as economic advisers to Obama and at the Fed?
@chrorfan You don't think that protestors helped advance society? There is a difference between protestors and rioters; a big one is that the rioters did not make the "Time Person of the Year"
The movement of the people will be a part of the tides changing which is referring to NWO, governments and powerful people look in every direction to control everything. Why do you think the Feds want you to trust them?
Is it Shepherd Fairy?
...Steve Jobs?

Is it true?
Love it! It was a hard time for us in Egypt during the protest, power to the people!!

Steve Jobs should've won by a log shot ..

@fastrob thanks buddy .. That was completely necessary .. You did a wonderful job đ
And time included those idiots with the people in egypt who actually had something to protest rather than just sit in a park and be wastes of life ..

Hey, I fancied that before you !!!
It should be Steve Jobs! Somebody who advanced society by creating not by destroying!
