The rail looks useless?look it crosses the middle
Looks really nice! But why is the rail going ACROSS? And you must have OCD if you think this looks messy. Your house must look quite.. Sterile.
The top of the picture is cut off, so it looks like the handrail is joined up the wrong way. But the handrail carries on out of the picture and joins to it's proper place where you can't see. The post on the other side just happens to be there where it appears to meet and join the handrail. It's just perspective. The post and handrail cross over in the photograph, but they are not joined.
