A match on a 3.5" porcelain cube continues to burn for hours; because the match is made of brass + a wick absorbs lamp oil from the porcelain cube below. Designed by Julia Thesenfitz.
'Great 'REMAKE' Product Concept' of an old product concept....but overpriced! $80 tops in my book! Sure, China/Taiwan/etc will produce less-expensive 'Run-Offs' as we speak! :-) LOL!
Least designer TRIED to create a 'green' product (non-toxic) ..... but lamp oil is still petro-based oil that is indeed toxic to the environ. So back to the drawing board (R&D Dvsn) it SHOULD go! Soy-based would definitely be 'green'.
Designed by Julia Thesenfitz, this beautiful oil lamp is a simple play on your eyes. Made of porcelain and brass, the match seems to never go out.
