I had a 1973 RD350 a few years back, with some motor work and drag pipes the thing was fast as hell.... Still kicking myself for giving it up.
I had a '77 RD400 when i was in high school in '81. Bought it with the front end wrecked and fixed it up. What a screamer! hard to keep the front tire on the ground.
Even the RD250 was every 'L' plate learner's dream in the 70's...
