Nice old watch
First Rolex I've ever really liked...
looks too much like my Omega Speedmaster and because of that - I want a strap like that!
This is the most appropriately scaled tachymeter I've seen on a watch.
now this is a watch. Want to show of to your friends. this is the watch to buy.
I too would love to find out more about that strap! Would look great on a Speedy.

Moondog, it's a 6263 and they were retailed between 1971 and 1987. Similar to the 6265 with the difference being the bezel. Find one with original box, certificates etc for around $40K !

The strap makes it for sure.
Don't forget -- it's all about the race, the 24 Hours of Daytona and champions and legends like Hurley Haywood and PJ Newman....
