A lot of cars come with cruise control .. Nothing fascinating. And to be honest, only one stupid person would use it like he does in that picture , unless you want to die or enjoy torturing oneself.
why is he an stupid? since a long time ago there have been prototypes of cars with this kind of technology, cars that can park or drive for themselves, this technology is the future for cars, they have all kind of sensor and well programed they would be able to this and more, someday maybe, it would be safer to let machines drive for us, at least in country´s were people get their driver licenses just because they pay.
Google have done this. Now BMW too? So does it cost less to insure a car that can drive itself? Certainly the google system appears less error prone that a human driver.
BMW did this a long time ago. It was on tv on Top Gear, they drove the car fast around the track, it remembered the route, then they let the car drive itself, was awesome

Actually their is an app google is designing where the car actually drives and turns all by itself

I hope they programmed it to drive like a proper BMW driver. Like the BMW's that don't come with indicators as standard.
