The slats will never be close enough to cook a burger or dog without the food falling through/falling apart. You also won't get the nice sear that you get from a narrower grating. It's all well and good for pots, but seems silly for most meats.

easy to throw on back of the truck; and looks like it will give those solid grill lines.
