My family use to breed, raise, and hunt them. They are awesome family dogs! They're very easy to care for, and if their socialized young, do well with other pets as well. They aren't supposed to have any white on them as the one in the photo has a white muzzle, nor are they supposed to have long coats. But that's breed standard, it doesn't mean if they have those features that they aren't worth loving!
