Nice Castle, was inspiration for the Disney Castle... Only a few floors are finished, and then King ran out of money... Sad story :(

It's very beautiful in winter, I was there 2 years ago
Hate it when my house gets photographed without my permission.
I visited it, it is nice but because it has never been lived in, it nearly looks to new. It doesn't have the same feeling of awe or authenticity as similar places have which have been lived in.
Who is this King ? When did he live ???

Mad king ludwig. Was there when i was younger. Pretty cool. Long walk up the road though.
I so want to see this someday !!!!
Don't go till 2013, this full year, almost all the outside walls and towers are under renovation. It's not worth it the view... : (
