Also, if you disassemble the watch, it's disparate elements will probably not total $40/50k, but when you put the technology together, it probably comes close. It's like valuing the Mona Lisa based on its value as a piece canvas and some oil paint. I'm not necessarily likening a watch to a masterpiece like the Mona Lisa, but I'm just trying to make a simple point.
