Tolomeo XXL is an enormous reproduction of the popular Artemide Tolomeo Classic Desk Lamp designed by Giancarlo Fassina and Michele de Lucchi in 1986.
Tolomeo XXL is made in a scale of 4:1 relative to the classic Tolomeo Desk Lamp. Inspired by the Tolomeo, a traditional and utilitarian desk lamp of which hundreds of thousands have been sold since its release, this larger-than-life Tolomeo floor lamp will add a uniquely wild twist to any space. Just don't plan putting it on your desk!
This exceptionally large floor lamp is fully adjustable (just like the original) and features cantilevered arms in polished aluminum and a painted aluminum lamp shade diffuser.
The lamps' joints are made of polished aluminum, also exactly like the original Tolomeo.
A solid and heavy concrete base provides stability (a fixed support for floor anchoring - no concrete base - is also available). No doubt a fascination and a curiosity by any standards, the mind-blowing proportions of the Tolomeo XXL will provide a jaw-dropping traffic-stopping effect. To stand near or under a monumumental Tolomeo XXL creates an intrigue that is truly significant. It sure feels like you are suddenly playing a part in "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids".
Tolomeo XXL is perfect for large spaces such as homes with tall ceilings, corporate lobbies, lofts, restaurants, hotels, etc.
It works with 2 57W fluorescent light bulbs (type GX24q-5/T4) which are included.
