Purling London Dark Chess brings a beautiful, innovative and new perspective to the game.
Cutting-edge board technology casts intriguing, avant-garde shadows over the edges and curves of the hand-turned pieces and allows the players to compete at twilight or under the stars.
Each Dark Chess board is hand-made in London and luxuriously painted with five layers giving the finest contemporary matt white finish. The 34 professional grade, hardwood, triple weighted pieces contrast their traditional Staunton shape against up-to-the-minute, bold colour.
Each set is supplied complete with a Chess piece box and a certificate personally signed by the designer.
Customer commissions are welcomed. For example, the Dark Chess board may be customised with a company logo or individual’s message; and the Chess pieces lacquered in a pair of unique colours.
