This looks very nice and smart but I have a question. If the car crashes on something the dog in the backseat is most likely going to get hurt, correct? Wouldn't it be safer for a dog to seat in front of the passenger's front seat? I mean, that space between the seat and the walls of the car. That way, if the car gets involved in a car crash, there's not gonna be enough space for the dog to hit something and get hurt.
good idea, who knows when an accident will happen, if the dog can get hurt in the back, he'll get hurt in the front.
if theres a crash anyone not wearing seatbelt is dead or at least badly injured doubt sitting in the front instead of the back will make any difference

I sell this product. In QLD all dogs need to - legally - be restrained (It's like $400 and a point). There is a velcro hole in the middle to allow restraints and other passengers to belt in. It can also be folded over so some can sit next to it and it can be folded down along the foot-well. It can also be hooked underneath the head rests, not just clipped around (looks nicer). And it comes in black. It is my favourite seat cover. The nicest material!
