I actually made this for my bedroom. You have to put it together in the room it's going in. Be careful if you are wanting to stain it! I got a little on my wall. It's a great bed frame!

could always install a laminate to the the exposee portions of the wood. that would stop possible splinter mishaps and give it a nice and easy finish.
